Warehouse Asset Technician

Role Summary

The Warehouse Asset Technician supports IT asset management operations in an on-site warehouse or stockroom environment. This role manages inventory, shipping and receiving, device preparation, and asset records to ensure equipment is accurately tracked, properly documented, and ready for deployment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inventory audits and maintain accurate stock levels of IT equipment and supplies.
• Ship and receive equipment according to established procedures and timelines.
• Unbox, inspect, tag, and prepare devices for deployment or storage.
• Update Configuration Management Database (CMDB) records to maintain accurate asset information.
• Process returned, retired, scrapped, and shipped equipment.
• Prepare and apply shipping labels for equipment sent to remote users and other locations.
• Generate return labels for company-issued equipment.
• Maintain detailed shipping and receiving records for asset tracking and audits.
• Follow established procedures for inventory control, equipment handling, and asset management.
• Use asset management systems and standard office tools to maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory management, warehouse operations, IT asset management, or a related function.
• Familiarity with CMDB systems and asset-tracking processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to accurately handle, document, and track IT equipment.
• Ability to follow established procedures and meet deadlines.
• Basic proficiency with computers and standard office productivity tools.
• Ability to work effectively in an on-site warehouse or stockroom environment.
• Relevant education, training, certifications, or equivalent practical experience.

Publishing Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.50 Hourly

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
