Job Summary

Genesys Cloud Pay is seeking an experienced Workday HCM Payroll Technical Consultant to support a global Workday implementation program. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Workday HCM, Payroll, Integrations, and Reporting, with hands-on experience delivering global payroll solutions across multiple regions.

This role will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting Workday Payroll integrations, data conversions, reports, and technical solutions while collaborating closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and implementation partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in global Workday HCM and Payroll implementation projects.
• Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations for Payroll and HCM processes.
• Develop and support inbound and outbound integrations using:
• Workday Studio
• EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder)
• Core Connectors
• Cloud Connect
• Web Services (SOAP/REST)
• Configure and support Workday Payroll technical requirements.
• Develop advanced custom reports, calculated fields, and dashboards.
• Perform data conversion, cleansing, validation, and migration activities.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, and Finance teams to gather requirements.
• Troubleshoot integration and payroll processing issues.
• Support SIT, UAT, payroll parallel testing, and production deployments.
• Create technical design documents and integration specifications.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across global payroll processes.
• Provide post-production support and enhancement services.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HRIS, or related field.
• 10+ years of Workday technical experience.
• 5+ years of Workday Payroll implementation experience.
• Experience supporting at least one or more global Workday Payroll implementations.
• Strong hands-on experience with:

• Experience with payroll integrations involving third-party vendors and external systems.
• Strong understanding of payroll data, earnings, deductions, taxes, and payroll processing cycles.
