Overview

HYBRID in Vienna, VA or Pensacola, FL.

BRMi is seeking a Full Stack Developer to analyze business needs to develop and implement solutions that leverage systems and processes with a broad degree of latitude. Work with the business to understand their needs, related to information technology and enhance business processes by identifying new functionality. Utilize advanced knowledge of the organization's technology infrastructure and specific software applications to assist the business with implementing strategic vision through technology. Coordinate and conduct highly complex system analyses through data acquisition and modeling. Identify, coordinate, document, and implement business requirements by determining solutions that enhance business systems, as well as provide support to business operations and processes. Work is performed under general direction.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain custom software applications using approved development tools.
  • Build end-to-end full stack applications that align with business initiatives and enterprise architecture.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test cases, scenarios, and validation documentation.
  • Coordinate software releases through testing, approvals, and production deployment.
  • Monitor solution implementations and ensure expected business outcomes are achieved.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, vendors, and cross-functional partners.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation throughout the SDLC.
  • Develop knowledge base articles and technical documentation for delivered solutions.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend workflow improvements.
  • Evaluate operational efficiency and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis using analytical tools and reporting techniques.
  • Interpret analytical findings and present recommendations to leadership.
  • Design technical solutions including data models, workflows, interfaces, system integrations, and controls.
  • Support multiple enterprise initiatives while managing competing priorities.
  • Develop process improvement plans based on performance metrics and operational data.
  • Create project roadmaps to remediate deficiencies, improve controls, and reduce future risk.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and software development best practices.
  • Complete required security, compliance, and platform training.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Expert knowledge of software development best practices and SDLC methodologies.
  • Extensive experience developing full stack applications using:
    • C#
    • .NET
    • React
    • JavaScript
    • SQL
    • MongoDB
    • MuleSoft
    • Azure Cloud
  • Experience developing end-to-end custom software solutions.
  • Experience modernizing legacy applications and migrating older technologies.
  • Ability to build solutions with minimal documentation or existing architecture.
  • Experience supporting applications across development, test, and production environments.
  • Strong software development, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with enterprise mainframe integrations.
  • Strong SQL, data analysis, reporting, forecasting, and statistical analysis skills.
  • Ability to analyze technical issues and recommend scalable solutions.
  • Experience communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading technical teams and enterprise initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience documenting business processes, workflows, and technical solutions.
  • Advanced analytical, organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
