Your role in our mission

Play a key role in delivering high-quality business analysis support across projects, contributing to the success of system implementations and enhancements.
  • Develop and own structured solution artifacts that define discrete system changes or work products, driving them end-to-end from initial definition through stakeholder review, build coordination, testing alignment, implementation, and closure
  • Elicit, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements, translating business needs into clear, actionable deliverables for technical and project teams
  • Support development of project deliverables, including requirements, design documentation, and user-facing materials
  • Analyze business processes and system impacts across functional areas, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with project objectives
  • Participate in and support requirements workshops, design sessions, and client walkthroughs
  • Ensure adherence to established standards, templates, and naming conventions across deliverables
  • Maintain project coordination and communication activities, including capturing and distributing meeting minutes, tracking status of work items, and providing regular updates to Project Managers, Business Leads, and other stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and support to junior BAs, contributing to team consistency and development

What we're looking for

  • Six or more years of experience as a Business Analyst or requirements analyst
  • Experience supporting healthcare or Medicaid system implementations (required)
  • Proven experience developing clear, structured requirements and supporting design documentation for system implementations
  • Strong knowledge of requirements elicitation and writing, SDLC/PLC processes, and alignment of requirements to testing and validation activities
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across business, technical, and QA/testing functions
  • Ability to analyze and document business processes and system impacts across multiple functional areas
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality deliverables with minimal rework
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a project team

What you should expect in this role

  • Work as a key contributor on complex system implementation or modernization initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with project leadership (PM, BA Leads, Technical Lead, and Test Lead)
  • Support delivery across multiple functional areas and system components
  • Engage with client stakeholders (DHS) in requirements, design, and testing discussions
  • Opportunity to grow into Project Business Lead responsibilities over time
