Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid, 3 days/week onsite) | Contract

Overview

Our client is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to build and deploy ML solutions that improve customer experience and increase revenue. You will own solutions from concept to implementation, with a focus on traditional machine learning, recommendation models and personalization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy machine learning solutions from concept through production.
• Develop traditional ML, recommendation and personalization models that improve the customer experience.
• Use solid SQL skills to prepare, explore and analyze data for modeling.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a developer for high-tech products or services, plus 2+ years of hands-on experience delivering products or solutions using machine learning, natural language processing or other AI (computer vision, mathematical optimization); OR an MS in Computer Science with some machine learning experience.
• Hands-on experience with traditional machine learning, recommendation models and personalization.
• Solid SQL skills.
• Mathematical understanding of statistical learning algorithms (supervised/unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, graphical models).
• Experience with deep learning architectures and models (ResNets, RNN/CNN, Transformers, transfer learning) in a production environment.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala or C++.
• Fluency in one or more ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe or Theano.
• Familiarity with key computer vision concepts.
• Degree in Computer Science or Math strongly valued.

Preferred Qualifications

• Feature engineering and core statistical techniques.
• Deploying ML workloads on major cloud platforms; Databricks preferred.
• LLM-based solutions and vector databases.
• Docker/Kubernetes.
• Database, API and backend development.

Pay rate: $65/hr. This is a 12 months contract position, Hybrid (3 days/week onsite) in Irving, TX.
