Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
Execute functional test cases to verify application functionality, business rules, and system behaviour against defined requirements.
Identify, document, and log defects with clear descriptions, test evidence, and steps to reproduce issues.
Validate application workflows and program functionality, collaborating with development and business teams to support defect resolution.
Support interface and data-related testing activities as needed, ensuring test results are documented and issues are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Experience in functional testing, test case execution, defect identification and tracking, and application quality validation. Experience with Integrated Eligibility systems supporting SNAP and TANF programs is required.

Business / Domain Skills:
Experience supporting Integrated Eligibility systems and public-benefit programs, including the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).
Experience validating business rules, application workflows, interfaces, data, batch processes, and end-to-end transactions through functional, integration, regression, UAT, and end-to-end testing.
Experience testing State Integrated Eligibility systems supporting multiple health and human services programs. Experience validating application intake, eligibility determination, benefit calculations, case processing, renewals, notices, interfaces, and cross-program business rules.
Experience testing TANF eligibility and benefits functionality, including application processing, household and income rules, benefit calculations, case management, notices, and program-specific workflows.
Experience testing SNAP eligibility and benefits functionality, including application processing, household composition, income/resource rules, eligibility determination, benefit calculations, certification/recertification, notices, and case changes.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation:
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of SQL for data validation and testing support.
Experience with interface testing and troubleshooting application issues.
