Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Product Owner in Fort Washington, PA. The candidate reports to the Director of Product Development.

Summary:
The Product Owner is a key leader within an agile scrum team, responsible for defining, maintaining, and executing the product roadmap for a specific domain. This role partners with business and technology stakeholders to translate strategy into actionable features and deliver measurable business outcomes. Success requires strong leadership, collaboration, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Roadmap:
* Represent the product domain to leadership and stakeholders
* Act as the voice of the customer by identifying business needs and pain points
* Lead product shaping, planning, and development initiatives
* Participate in user research, data analysis, and design sessions
* Define and communicate a clear product roadmap aligned to business outcomes
* Partner with leaders to establish success metrics and measure impact

Product Development & Backlog:
* Define features and write detailed user stories with acceptance criteria
* Prioritize backlog based on vision, goals, and data-driven insights
* Guide scrum teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions
* Maintain and refine backlog to reflect evolving priorities
* Monitor delivery progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans
* Track roadmap progress using tools such as Aha!
* Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, reviews, retrospectives)
* Foster cross-team collaboration

Collaboration & Communication:
* Clearly communicate product vision and outcomes across teams
* Serve as the primary point of contact for product updates and feedback
* Align team efforts with broader business goals
* Tailor communication to influence diverse stakeholders

Leadership & Development:
* Mentor team members and promote continuous improvement

REQUIREMENTS:
* 2-5 years in agile product development; PO or Senior BA experience preferred
* Expertise in product roadmap planning and agile methodologies
* Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills
* Ability to lead, influence, and solve problems independently
* Strong communicator and relationship builder
* Highly motivated, energetic, and results-driven
* Analytical with strong decision-making capabilities
* Proactive, adaptable, and resourceful
* Able to work independently while remaining collaborative
* Financial services experience preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
