Business Analyst 3

Introduction:

As a Business Analyst 3, you will play a crucial role in coordinating with outside vendors, developing project artifacts, troubleshooting system issues, managing project scope and deployment, and analyzing HHS policies. Your expertise in acceptance testing, business requirements gathering, project management, and system integration will be key in ensuring successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with outside vendors to complete projects and service requests
• Develop and/or review project artifacts such as test cases, requirements documentation, and design specifications
• Consult on system analysis, troubleshoot problems, and support solution implementations
• Manage project scope, acceptance, and deployment
• Identify project risks and design strategies to mitigate them
• Perform analysis of HHS policies, procedures, and standards

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 8 years of experience in coordinating with vendors, developing project artifacts, troubleshooting system issues, managing project scope, and analyzing HHS policies

Preferred Skills:

• 3 years of experience using TFS for requirements management
• 3 years of experience working in an Agile environment
• 3 years of experience with Microsoft products (MS Office, SharePoint, Copilot)
• 3 years of experience in enterprise system components, business rules engines, workflow orchestration, and Azure-hosted cloud solutions
• 3 years of experience and knowledge of Texas HHSC processes, Texas Medicaid, and CHIP systems
• 3 years of experience updating portfolio project management tools
