Our client is seeking an experienced AWS IAM Architect to design, implement, and optimize complex identity and access management solutions across multi-account AWS environments. This role requires deep expertise in IAM policy design, cross-account strategies, and the ability to provide architectural guidance to development and infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

•Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex IAM policies and role structures across multiple AWS accounts

•Establish and secure IAM mechanisms for cross-account access while maintaining security and scalability

•Architect enterprise-grade IAM solutions that balance security, manageability, and operational efficiency

•Analyze CloudTrail and access logs to identify root causes of IAM issues and proactively address security gaps

•Diagnose and resolve IAM-related incidents efficiently, minimizing business impact

•Provide actionable IAM guidance and solutions to developers, architects, and stakeholders

•Create comprehensive technical documentation for IAM designs, procedures, and best practices

•Lead architectural discussions and mentor teams on IAM strategy and implementation

Requirements

•10+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and IAM architecture

•Expert-level knowledge of AWS IAM policies, roles, and permission structures

•Proven experience designing and implementing multi-account IAM strategies and cross-account communication patterns

•Strong proficiency in CloudTrail and access log analysis for troubleshooting and security audits

•Demonstrated ability to design secure, scalable, and maintainable IAM solutions

•Excellent technical documentation and communication skills

•Leadership capability and experience guiding technical teams on complex IAM topics
