Project Manager - Expert (HBITS-08-15012) – Albany, NY 12211 (3 days onsite per week)

Hi,

We are currently hiring for the Project Manager - Expert role (Job ID: HBITS-08-15012) with one of our clients in Albany, NY. As a prime vendor to New York State, we support their HBITS (Hourly-Based IT Services) requirements.

Position Details:

• Title: Project Manager - Expert
• Duration: 15 Months
• Location: Albany, NY 12211 (3 days onsite per week)
• Interview Mode: Single round, Virtual

Job Responsibilities:

This individual will be expected to participate in the following activities:

• Manage the project using a Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) based project management methodology containing well-defined and documented processes, templates, and guidelines for all project phases, the adherence to which is required and managed by a formal Project Management Office.
• Prepare and manage the Project Management Plan including, but not limited to, scope statement, schedule, budget, quality plan, risks, issues, and communication plan, etc.
• Prepare documents such as presentations and meeting materials.
• Track Project performance to ensure goals are being met.
• Identify and facilitate communications with stakeholder groups.
• Utilize formal project change process and communicate changes with all stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 84 months of experience in managing multiple IT projects where regular interactions with Executive level stakeholders were required.
• 84 months of experience in managing an IT project with a minimum of eight project team members.
• 60 months of experience in developing and maintaining schedules in Microsoft Project.
• 60 months of experience in managing projects using a Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) based project management methodology containing well-defined and documented processes, templates, and guidelines for all project phases.
• 48 months of experience in managing software implementation projects or in-house application development (SDLC) projects.
• 36 months of experience in managing projects for New York State agencies.
