Summary

Job Title: Data Analyst (3–5 Years Experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst with 3–5 years of experience to support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization, along with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights
Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar
Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and validate data from multiple sources
Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure data quality and integrity
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements
Translate business needs into technical data solutions and actionable recommendations
Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives
Work with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Business units
Support data integration efforts and ensure consistency across systems
Document data processes, definitions, and reporting logic

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, window functions)
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas)
Experience with Python or R for data analysis (preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
Knowledge of Big Data tools (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Domain experience in Banking, Finance, Retail, or Healthcare (preferred)

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
