Cleanroom Technician

A globally leading consumer device company is looking for the Cleanroom Technician to support manufacturing operations by handling wafers, operating tools, and performing inspections within a cleanroom environment. This role works closely with process engineers and follows MES-driven instructions to ensure quality, safety, and production efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Follow MES instructions for work prioritization and execution
Load and unload process tools, including tools requiring manual wafer handling
Operate metrology tools, including X-ray Diffraction (XRD)
Perform visual quality inspections and enter measurement data accurately
Adhere strictly to cleanroom and safety procedures
Collaborate with process engineers to support daily manufacturing activities
Key Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience with manual wafer handling in a cleanroom environment
Associate s Degree in a technical or science-related field
Working knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts
Experience with MOCVD processes
General proficiency using spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or similar tools)
Strong attention to detail and adherence to cleanroom protocols

Type: Contract
Duration: 12 months with extension
Work Location: Santa Clara, CA (100% on site)
Pay range: $35.00 - $45.00 (DOE)
