Position: Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Manager
Position Type: Direct Hire
Location: Remote
Overview
The ERM Manager leads the organization’s enterprise-wide risk management program, including third-party risk and issue management. This role partners closely with business and executive leadership to identify, assess, and mitigate strategic, operational, financial, compliance, and technology risks while strengthening the overall risk culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and continuously enhance the Enterprise Risk Management framework, policies, and methodologies.
- Coordinate enterprise and business-unit risk assessments, risk registers, and control evaluations.
- Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and emerging risks; provide insights to senior leadership and the Board.
- Prepare executive-level risk reporting, dashboards, and regulatory materials.
- Partner with stakeholders to design risk mitigation strategies and validate remediation efforts.
- Support scenario analysis, stress testing, and business continuity initiatives.
- Serve as a risk subject-matter expert for new or modified products and services.
- Oversee the enterprise TPRM program, including vendor risk assessments and due diligence.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements (OCC, FFIEC, GDPR, etc.)
- Track vendor risk metrics, concentration risk, SLA performance, and remediation.
- Deliver executive and regulatory reporting on third-party risk.
Issue Management
- Administer the issue management lifecycle, including tracking, root cause analysis, and resolution.
- Partner with business units to ensure timely closure and documentation of issues.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in ERM, risk management, internal audit, compliance, or related field (financial services preferred).
- Strong knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks (COSO ERM, ISO 31000).
- Experience with risk assessments, issue management, controls testing, and executive reporting.
- Background in third-party/vendor risk management strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or related discipline.
