Description :
This position has on-site/in personworkdays of Tuesday/Wednesday (must work 8 hours per day in office on those twodays, no exceptions). The ideal candidate will live within one hour of Lansing, MI. The first month of work will be on-site 5 days per week for onboarding.
This position functions as part of an Agile team with heavy understanding and usage of the Azure DevOps tool as part of the required skillset. The System Analyst 3is responsible for gathering, documenting, and testing clear, unambiguous business requirements from the client. Understanding the business requirements thoroughly in order to communicate business needs and system functionality to technical and non-technical stakeholders, project team members, and the user community. The System Analyst serves as the ScrumMaster (heavy usage of AzureDevOps tool) on projects and coordinates with the PMO’s Project Manager for artifacts/documentation needed on State of Michigan projects.
The System Analyst isresponsible for working with the project team and stakeholders to examineexisting and future-state business processes, data, and systems. Thisinformation is used to guide the gathering of business requirements andexecuting test cases as they relate to the desired system functionality.
Responsibilities
· Gather, analyze,and document business and functional requirements.
· Develop processflows, use cases, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
· Translatebusiness needs into technical specifications for development teams.
· Create testplans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases based on requirements.
· Executefunctional, integration, and regression testing; log and track defects.
· Support UserAcceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with business partners.
· Validate thatdelivered solutions meet documented requirements and quality standards.
· Collaborate withdevelopers, project managers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirementsand resolve issues.
· Assist withsystem demonstrations, training materials, and production validation.
· Ensuredocumentation remains accurate and updated throughout the project lifecycle.
