Job Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Deer Park, TX 77536
Pay Rate: $20-$26/hr | Depending on experience.
Shift: 2nd shift - 12:30pm - 9:30pm
Description: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description: As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing predictive and preventive maintenance on processing equipment and related auxiliary equipment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair all production equipment and auxiliary equipment.
- Coordinate work activities with the maintenance manager and the production manager.
- Use and properly maintain all tools.
- Keep daily records, including work orders, material requests, and activity reports.
- Maintain written and verbal communication with plant staff.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment and machinery within the plant.
- Ensure safety by following all company policies, including safety rules and procedures, Lockout/Tagout procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), SQF and HACCP standards, personal safety rules, food safety standards, and OSHA regulations.
- Carry out other tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
- Provide your own tools.
- Have electrical experience, including low voltage systems up to 480 VAC.
- Have mechanical and pneumatic experience.
- Be able to read and understand manuals and parts diagrams.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds (about 23 kg).
- Be able to climb ladders.
- Be available to work on weekends.
Job type and salary
- Job type: Full-time.
- Work schedule: Monday to Saturday, between 40 and 48 hours per week.
- Salary range: $20 to $26 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).
Additional information
- Candidates will receive training during the first shift for 2 to 4 weeks and then move to their assigned shift, depending on their experience.
- They should have their own basic hand tools, such as wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, among others.
