Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize advanced manufacturing processes, including material selection, parameter tuning, equipment metrology, and system design
Conduct feasibility studies and pathfinding activities to support innovative device architectures and manufacturing roadmaps
Implement modifications to operating equipment to increase efficiency and optimize production output
Collaborate with equipment and material suppliers to establish and integrate enabling technology solutions
Perform process technology feasibility using theoretical simulations and practical engineering methods
Maintain awareness of industry trends and technical advancements to align development efforts with evolving semiconductor needs
Develop cost-effective technology roadmaps in partnership with key stakeholders and suppliers

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Minimum Qualifications:
- PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, or Electrical Engineering with at least 6+ months experience in semiconductor relevant fields (such as Thin Films Deposition, Ion Implantation, Thermal Annealing, Etch Processing)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of technical experience in semiconductor processing and semiconductor materials and characterization
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Enthusiasm for advancing Intel's strategic goals and driving innovations in the semiconductor industry
- Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE) principles, and process characterization

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $127,400.00-$179,900.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
