Summary

The client is undergoing a large-scale migration from Hadoop to AWS and is experiencing a critical resource gap after a key team member transitioned to another internal team. This consultant will play an essential role in maintaining delivery timelines and accelerating the migration initiative.

Must Have

  • Strong AWS Data Engineering experience.
  • Advanced SQL capabilities.
  • Hands-on Spark development experience.
  • Experience with Glue, dbt, and Airflow.
  • Strong data modeling background.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with HR data.
  • SuccessFactors integration experience.
  • Data Vault modeling experience.
  • Hadoop migration experience.
  • Experience with streaming architectures.
  • Work on a high-visibility Hadoop-to-AWS migration initiative.
  • Exposure to modern cloud technologies, data engineering best practices, and AI-assisted development.
  • Strong potential to convert into a full-time role after the initial contract period.
  • Opportunity to influence the future-state architecture of a global HR data platform.
