We are looking for Assembler Associate for our client in Abbott Park, IL

Job Title: Assembler Associate

Job Location: Abbott Park, IL

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $17.50hr - $22.50hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
  • Basic computer literacy including data entry, inventory software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Prior experience manufacturing in a GMP environment.
  • Prior experience manufacturing in an environment adhering to ISO standards.
  • Ability to gown to work in a clean environment including hood, shoe covers, and coveralls.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks associated with production activities for aseptically filling and label application of filled bottles/vials.
  • Operate, setup, shutdown, and clean filling equipment inside of an ISO 7 environment.
  • Operate, setup, shutdown, and clean multiple pieces of equipment for quality checks and label application in a Controlled Non Classified area.
  • Maintain extensive documentation in both digital and hard copy formats.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and perform general housekeeping.
  • Support production activities outside of the direct work area.
  • Multi-task in a dynamic environment and make decisive decisions using problem-solving skills.
  • Follow established GMP instructions without deviation.
  • Execute highly complex or specialized work.
  • Proactively monitor production activities and clear minor jams to minimize impact to the production process.
  • Report any abnormal equipment function or product problems immediately.
  • Operate multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously according to established procedures.
  • Ensure accurate completion of work orders and other documentation.
  • Complete inspection of products and materials to ensure acceptable visual and physical appearance.
  • Perform basic calculations and replenish production materials.
  • Communicate effectively via face-to-face, phone, and email.
  • Utilize computer-based programs including Microsoft Office, SAP, and custom production programs.
  • Due to nature of job The candidate must have Ability to lift 20 lbs.
