Hybrid Onsite Every Other Week in Salt Lake City, UT

Our client is sourcing a Senior Software Engineer in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role supports the digital presence by building omni-channel user experiences and supporting platforms. You will deliver features from concept to deployment within autonomous teams and contribute to product quality while expanding skills in modern web technologies.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $57.00 to $67.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

Build and enhance omni-channel user experiences and underlying platforms.
Design, develop, and maintain Node.js based web applications.
Implement front-end solutions using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
Set up and optimize continuous JavaScript build environments with tools such as Webpack, Grunt, and Gulp.
Consume and integrate RESTful APIs.
Translate initiative vision into scalable business solutions and evaluate alternatives.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for applications and subsystems.
Participate in iteration planning to maintain team velocity and quality.
Analyze business requirements and system development specifications.
Provide production support, performance tuning, and maintenance for existing applications.
Resolve technical roadblocks across multiple technologies.
Ensure efficient code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
Coordinate delivery of technical components across internal and external teams.
Own process improvement initiatives to increase product team velocity.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members.

Experience Requirements:

Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals including data structures and algorithms.
Proficiency with HTTP-based APIs, networking, and web architecture.
Expertise with Git, version control, and branching strategies.
Hands-on experience with Node.js, npm, and Express for package and service management.
Experience designing and maintaining Angular and TypeScript front-end applications.
Experience with CSS, HTML, and browser developer tools.
Experience configuring JavaScript build pipelines with Webpack, Grunt, or Gulp.
Experience consuming RESTful APIs in front-end and back-end contexts.
Proven application of automation for development, testing, and deployment.
Knowledge of DevOps, automated testing, and continuous delivery using tools such as Groovy, Jenkins, or Concourse (preferred).
Appetite for learning new skills and working in iterative, fast-paced environments.
