Exceed your potential with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring for a 1st Shift Electronic PCB Inspector in Lake Forest, CA. As a
PCB Inspector, you will:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections on electronic assemblies, including PCB assemblies, metal parts, plastic components, and box-build enclosures.
- Inspect solder joints, component placement, finishes, and overall workmanship using magnification and measurement tools.
- Measure critical dimensions and verify part alignment using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision instruments.
- Document inspection results by completing inspection reports and nonconformance reports, including reject and rework dispositions.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, IPC standards, J-STD standards, ISO 9001, and internal quality procedures.
- Support quality inspections across both PCB-related and mechanical components within the EM department.
This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: - 3-5 years of Quality Control experience in PCB Assembly manufacturing.
- Experience working in electronics, aerospace, or semiconductor manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and J-STD-001 standards.
- Hands-on experience using electronic and mechanical inspection tools such as magnifiers, microscopes, calipers, and multimeters.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems and safety practices.
- Active or prior J-STD certification.
- Background in electronics manufacturing environments similar to EMS or PCB assembly operations.
Shift: 1st shift, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate\'s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
