Senior Full Stack Developer - Java / Angular 8+

WORK Location:

First Location -- McLean, VA  - fully onsite

Second Location -- Plano, TX – Hybrid, Flexible onsite schedule.

Duration: 6+ Months

Must Have Qualifications: Seasoned developer with 7+ years of hands-on software development experience with strong Java/Spring and Angular expertise. Must have solid backend experience  with Rest APIs, integrations, databases, and security, as well as experience with modern development tools such as Git, SQL, and Unit Testing. Strong communication skills are required and background in capital markets or payments process is a strong plus. Experience with IBM MQ is a plus. Ex Freddie/Fannie experience is a strong plus.

Job Description –

Full Stack Developer member of our product team(s): 

Responsibilities include: 

·       Engage business users to define the requirements and design for a new, best-in-class, payments platform.

·       Application development, prototyping, and high-level technical consulting.

·       Work closely with team members and business partners to develop cutting edge technology solutions under tight deadlines.

·       Predict effects of configuration changes; identify application bottlenecks and opportunities to optimize performance. 

·       Support issue resolution and completion of ad-hoc requests in support of business partners within the I&CM division.

Min. Requirements

·       5 - 7 years of IT experience in design, development, integration and testing of software solutions based on J2EE technologies in an agile environment.

·       5 - 7 years of experience with relational databases including Sybase, SQL Server, MySQL, and/or DB2.

·       3 - 5 years of experience developing RESTful web services using Spring Boot.

·       2 - 3 years of experience developing front-end GUIs using Angular 2 or higher.

·       2 - 3 years of experience with managing, building, and deploying code through tools including Eclipse, GIT, Gradle, Docker, and Jenkins.

·       2 - 3 years of experience designing and executing JUnit test cases using Mockito framework based on business requirements and functional specifications.

·       2 - 3 years of experience leveraging test automation tools, such as Fitness

·       2 - 3 years of experience working in an AGILE product centric software methodology

·       Working experience and knowledge of GenAI tools, such as GitHub CoPilot, LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
