Interview Process: Interviews will be held in-person. Candidates MUST be available for an in-person interview.
Hybrid: Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week.
Candidates must be local to Michigan at time of submission.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication is crucial to success and productivity in this role.
Required Skills
- Associate's degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience in full stack application development
- 3+ years of strong hands-on experience with React for front-end development
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with .NET C# including building APIs and server-side logic
- 5+ years of experience in SQL Server.
About the Project:
- Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) has applications that are being supported with sunset
- technologies. The applications support the compliance, security, registration, and management
- of responsible gaming database (problem gamblers) functions within MGCB.
- The objective of this project is to modernize the legacy IT applications used by the Michigan
- Gaming Control Board (MGCB). This will be achieved by rewriting them using current, supported technologies, thereby mitigating risks associated with end-of-life applications and
- ensuring ongoing operational support for MGCB business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable full-stack solutions using modern
- frameworks and technologies.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, DevOps engineers, testers, and business analysts.
- Ensure clean code practices, proper architecture patterns, and adherence to
- development standards.
- Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and DevOps deployment processes.
