Telecom Technician / Network Support Specialist

We are seeking a Telecom Technician / Network Support Specialist to support a large, multi-site healthcare environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting telecom and network issues, supporting VoIP systems, and resolving ISP-related outages across more than 150 locations.
This position is filling an immediate support gap and plays a critical role in maintaining uptime and operational stability. While the initial engagement is contract-based, there is potential to convert for candidates with strong telecom and networking backgrounds.
Responsibilities include supporting telecom and network issues across multiple locations, troubleshooting ISP outages and connectivity problems, supporting VoIP and unified communications platforms, monitoring alerts, responding to incidents, and performing root cause analysis. The role also involves coordinating vendor engagement, supporting fax and phone systems, and assisting with network and telecom changes aligned with security and compliance standards.
The ideal candidate has experience supporting telecom and network environments at scale, strong troubleshooting skills across VoIP and connectivity issues, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working in uptime-critical environments is important.
Nice to have experience includes RingCentral or Avaya, regulated or healthcare environments, network or telecom certifications, and experience supporting site deployments or infrastructure upgrades.
