Mobile Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead end-to-end mobile application architecture using:

  • Ionic & Capacitor for hybrid mobile development

  • Swift for native iOS components

• Define mobile development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices

• Drive technical decisions related to performance, security, scalability, and maintainability

Development & Delivery

• Perform hands-on development and code reviews for AngularJS / Angular-based mobile applications

• Design and implement native plugins using Capacitor to access device features, including:

  • Camera

  • Biometrics

  • Storage

  • Push notifications

• Integrate mobile applications with backend services, APIs, and third-party SDKs

• Ensure compliance with:

  • Apple App Store guidelines

  • Security standards

  • Accessibility requirements

Team & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Mentor and guide mobile developers across hybrid and native stacks

• Collaborate closely with:

  • UX designers

  • Product Owners

  • Backend teams

  • DevOps and Security teams

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management

Quality, Performance & Security

• Ensure high-quality releases through:

  • Automated testing

  • CI/CD pipelines

  • Performance optimization

• Implement mobile security best practices, including:

  • Secure storage

  • Encryption

  • Authentication

  • Certificate pinning

• Monitor and resolve production issues and support application lifecycle management

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Ionic Framework (enterprise-scale mobile application development)

• Capacitor (native bridge, plugin development, device integration)

• AngularJS / Angular (mobile UI development and state management)

• Swift (native iOS development and plugin customization)

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Android native development (Kotlin / Java)

• CI/CD for mobile apps (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitrise, Azure DevOps)

• Mobile security standards (OWASP Mobile Top 10)

• Enterprise authentication (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, biometrics)

• Familiarity with Apple App Store and Google Play Store release processes

Domain Experience (Preferred)

• Banking, Financial Services, Credit Union, or other regulated industries

• Digital banking, payments, or customer-facing mobile platforms

Soft Skills

• Strong technical leadership and mentoring capability

• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to balance hands-on development with architectural ownership

• Strong problem-solving mindset with delivery focus
