Job Description
Gridiron IT is looking for a Tanium Engineer to support our DoD customer to implement an enterprise IT service delivery model that provides consistent, secure, high-quality, and cost-effective services to enable mission success and improve end user experience across the customer environment.? On this program, Gridiron IT will deliver enhanced capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk, endpoint management and security solution, as well as CONOCONUS field support and life cycle support for end user devices to enable the DoD customer to transition focus from IT operations to mission operations.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Tanium infrastructure
- Develop and optimize Tanium content (sensors, packages, saved questions)
- Assist in patch management and software distribution processes
- Perform endpoint detection and response (EDR) activities
- Collaborate with other IT teams for integration and automation
- Troubleshoot Tanium-related issues
Required Qualifications
Required:
- 15+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor s Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience).
- Current Secret security clearance
- Proficiency in Tanium platform and its core modules
- Strong scripting abilities (Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting)
- Solid understanding of Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
- Familiarity with endpoint security and management concepts
- Strong Troubleshooting skills
- General Understanding of ACAS scans and reporting
- Ability to maintain Tanium infrastructure
- Creation of Tanium packages, queries, and sensors
?Certifications:
- Tanium Certified Operator or Administrator (preferred)
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP) may be beneficial
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Requires Secret Clearance.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $70-80/hr (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
