Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst Application Specialist with 9+ years of experience in data analysis, application support, and business intelligence. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, expertise in data management and reporting, and the ability to work closely with business and technical teams to deliver data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze, interpret, and validate data from multiple sources to support business requirements and decision-making.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using BI and reporting tools.
Provide application support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for data-related applications and systems.
Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
Monitor data quality, perform data validation, and ensure data integrity across applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and database administrators.
Support system enhancements, upgrades, and implementation of new data solutions.
Create and maintain documentation, including process flows, reports, and user guides.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend data-driven solutions.

Required Skills

9+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Application Specialist, or related role.
Strong experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
Proficiency in SQL and database querying.
Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of data management, data validation, and data governance principles.
Experience in application support and troubleshooting.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in enterprise environments with large datasets and complex applications.
Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration concepts.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience in healthcare, finance, or other regulated industries is a plus.
