Lockheed Martin RMS is seeking a Systems Engineer (Radar Engineering) - Early Career. In this role, you will perform functional analyses, design trade studies, allocate and develop requirements, carry out integration and test duties, and define systems interfaces by translating customer requirements into system and software specifications. The successful candidate will have experience or knowledge of MATLAB, Python, Unix OS, and/or C++.

Basic Qualifications

- At least a B.S. in one of the following: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. Computer Engineering, Physics, Math, or equivalent degree

- Introductory knowledge of one or more of the following: Matlab, Python, Unix OS, and/or C++

Desired skills

- Desire to work on multi-disciplinary engineering teams to design, develop and test sensor systems that enable integrated air and missile defense missions

- Basic knowledge of Radar Systems and associated applications

- Experience in one or more of the following areas: i) radar control algorithms; ii) modeling and simulation; iii) predictive data filtering techniques (e.g. Kalman filters); and iv) Signal Processing, image processing techniques, and modeling signal processing operations

- Experience leading teams or managing budget for organization/project (through academic projects, internships, extracurriculars, athletics, etc.)

- Familiarity with integration and test, tools, and environments for radar systems and subsystems for performance analysis and modeling

- Relevant coursework includes Computer Architecture, Algorithms and Analysis, Programming Methodology, Computer and Communication Networks, and/or Digital Signal Processing

Work Schedule Information
