The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity practices, with a particular emphasis on Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) IT General Controls (ITGC). This role is critical in ensuring our organization meets compliance requirements while safeguarding our information systems and data integrity.

<>Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SOX ITGC.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to security standards.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to design and implement security controls that align with business objectives.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
• Provide training and awareness programs for employees on cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and regulatory changes affecting the organization.
• Assist in the preparation of documentation and reports for internal and external audits related to SOX compliance.

<>Mandatory Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) IT General Controls (ITGC) and compliance requirements.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing security controls.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Ability to analyze security incidents and develop effective response strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex security concepts to non technical stakeholders.

<>Preferred Skills:

• Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
• Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM).
• Familiarity with cloud security practices and technologies.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their implications for cybersecurity.

<>Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 2 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on compliance and ITGC.
• Proven track record of successfully managing security projects and initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
