We are the Product Systems Quality Watch & Home Hardware Automation team, who design, build and deploy robotic and mechatronic testing solutions to drive system quality for new Watch & Home products and experiences.\\n\\nWe're seeking a motivated engineer with strong programming and problem-solving skills. You'll work with our diverse and multi-disciplinary group of engineers across different organizations at Apple to develop sophisticated automated testing fixtures and robotics solutions that ensure our world-changing products meet the exceptional quality standards our customers expect.\\n\\nCome join our team!

As part of a diverse team, you'll develop automated systems that integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components to directly impact the performance and quality of devices used by millions of customers worldwide. The work demands creative problem-solving at the intersection of robotics and consumer electronics testing.

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field\n3+ years of experience in creating and using robotics and/or mechatronic systems (e.g. microcontrollers, sensors, actuators) to build automated solutions\nExpertise in Python\nExperience with applied mathematics (e.g. linear algebra, transformation matrices, kinematics)\nExperience debugging and troubleshooting complex mechatronic and software systems\nExperience in CADing/designing mechanical fixtures for robotic applications\nExperience with computer vision (OpenCV) and/or AI/ML applications\nDemonstrated ability to work in teams and collaborate

Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field\nExperience designing and working with electronic circuits, and troubleshooting electronic signals for mechatronic solutions\nStrong understanding of QA methodologies and practices\nMeticulous attention to detail and skilled at balancing multiple projects in parallel without impacting the quality of deliverables\nExperience using and/or creating AI tools for development or robotic applications
