Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, SQL, Linux, and web data processing and a proven ability to deliver reliable data pipelines, high-quality code, and collaborative engineering outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy efficient Python scripts to parse and download large-scale web datasets.


• Construct and optimize complex SQL queries for downstream data processing and analytics.


• Author clean, performant, and maintainable code aligned with engineering standards.


• Participate in peer code reviews and drive improvements to development practices.


• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects to ensure system reliability.


• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for sustainment and knowledge transfer.


• Communicate technical updates and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.


• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.


• Advanced proficiency in Python development.


• Strong Linux experience and shell scripting skills.


• Solid proficiency in constructing and optimizing SQL queries.


• Proven problem-solving capabilities, analytical acumen, and attention to detail.


• Ability to deliver results independently and within collaborative teams.


• Experience contributing to large-scale software initiatives.

Preferred Skills:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.


• Experience in web scraping and processing large-scale datasets.


• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.


• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure tools.


• Foundational understanding of data analytics and machine learning concepts.
