Job Summary

The Gund Company is seeking a skilled and motivated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Euless, Texas team. In this role, you will serve as the site lead for quality assurance and quality control activities, ensuring our products meet customer expectations and industry standards. You'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our Quality Management System (QMS) while collaborating closely with operations, engineering, and leadership teams.

Essential Job Functions
  • Lead and execute quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), and continuous improvement (CI) activities at the assigned facility
  • Support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the site's Quality Management System within a global multi-site framework
  • Manage inspection processes, product release, and nonconformance control activities
  • Partner with Plant Management, Value Stream Managers, Process Engineers, Sales, and Quality teams to meet customer and regulatory requirements
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve quality performance and customer satisfaction
  • Analyze quality data and develop process improvements using statistical and analytical tools
  • Collaborate with peer Quality Specialists on systemic quality and process improvements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5-10 years of experience in a quality role within an ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 (aviation/space/defense) environment
  • American Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications preferred but not required (CQE, CQT, CQA, CQI, Six Sigma Green Belt)

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with ERP systems, data entry, and report analysis
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T
  • Strong understanding of inspection methods, statistical process control, and quality data analysis
  • Solid math and problem-solving skills
  • Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across all organizational levels

Travel

  • Up to 20% travel may be required
