We are seeking a skilled and experienced Active Directory Migration Engineer to perform and execute directory service migrations, consolidations, and profile merges. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Multi-Forest Active Directory (AD), Entra AD, M365 Identities, Azure AD, Okta, AD Group Policy/Security Group and identity management, with a strong background in scripting and enterprise-level infrastructure projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Active Directory migrations in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of AD DS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Kerberos.
• Expert proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, Azure Administrator).
• Familiarity with cloud identity platforms and IAM solutions (i.e. Okta/Sail Point).
• Experience with Azure Active Directory and hybrid identity configurations.
• Working knowledge with tools like ADMT, Quest ODM Migration Manager, or similar.
• Expertise with identity federation AD/Okta (ADFS, SAML, OAuth).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in environments with complex multi-forest architectures, multi-domain architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, analyze AD domain OU structure, Security Groups, Group Policies, and Service Accounts, leveraging PowerShell scripting and other tools as available.
• Participate in the plan, design, and implement Active Directory migration strategies across multiple domains and forests.
• Participate in the plan and testing of user and laptop profile transfer from one identity to the new identity. Specific testing and validation with Apple MAC.
• Perform domain consolidations, user SID merging, OU, Security Group and Group Policy analysis and migrations.
• Migrate users, groups, computers, and policies using tools such as Quest ODM/ADMT, PowerShell, and/or third-party solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including networking, security, and application owners to ensure seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex AD-related issues during and after migration.
• Document migration processes, configurations, and post-migration validation steps.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices during migration.

• Will work supporting US CT and PT working hours.
• On-call support during migration windows may be necessary.
