Title: Project Manager With Investment Domain
Location: Cambridge, MA (Hybrid 3 days)

Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead teams in defining scope, planning, budgeting, and executing all project activities.
- Apply strong project management standards to deliver projects on scope, on schedule, and on budget.
- Ensure consistent application of project methodology and best practices.
- Communicate expectations clearly and manage stakeholder alignment.
- Drive issue/risk resolution and ensure testing (UAT, regression, client testing) is completed thoroughly.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and Change Oversight materials.
- Support resolution of critical issues and participate in lessons‑learned reviews.
- Support Portfolio Managers with portfolio‑level reporting.
The Project Manager leads medium to large projects, often cross‑functional, through the full project lifecycle.
The role works closely with sponsors and Systems partners to define scope, develop plans, manage budgets, and deliver projects on time and within scope.
The Project Manager oversees project execution, drives issue and risk resolution, coordinates resources, and leads teams of SMEs, analysts, and contributors.
They provide clear communication and progress updates to sponsors and stakeholders and offer coaching to project team members.
Client Experience
- Understand business strategy and priorities to ensure project outcomes align with sponsor objectives.
- Manage scope to prevent “creep”; recommend solutions when business needs evolve.
- Collaborate across business and Systems teams; negotiate goals and execution approaches.
- Provide proactive stakeholder management and consistent communication.
- Coordinate updates to product materials and client‑facing documentation.
People Leadership
- Coach and mentor Business Analysts; provide performance input and developmental guidance.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- 15-20 years project management experience.
- Financial Services and Custody operations experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of PM principles, ROI analysis, planning, and issue management.
- Results‑oriented, with strong problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory environment; experience in financial services especially custody firms a plus
- Essential: Waterfall methodology experience. Nice to have: Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
