Primary Responsibilities: - Design and develop solutions for the current project through cloud-hosted Java Microservices/Kafka streams and DataStage ETL jobs
- Mentor and guide developers on the team
- Hands-on work with deliverables of java services, cloud solutions, data pipelines, Kafka streaming and DataStage PX to implement solutions
- Help create strategic direction for how to transform other components of the app using modern technologies (Kafka, services, SQL and NoSQL DB)
- Help triage and fix issues with solution in Production
- Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks
- Evaluate emerging trends to drive continuous improvement and strategic innovation

Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related, or 8+ years of equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience with Java micro-services, Spring Boot, Spring Batch
- 5+ years of experience with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, Postgres
- 3+ years of experience with DataStage PX ETL development
- 3+ years of experience hosting micro services in cloud environments, specifically, experience in Kubernetes
- 3+ years of experience with Kafka Producer, Kafka Consumer and Kafka Streams
- 3+ years of CI/CD experience, including building and deploying and maintaining cloud micro services
Preferred Qualifications: - Git, GitHub, GitHub actions, GitHub Pipelines
- Docker
- XL Deploy
- General CI/CD pipeline experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
