As an Equipment Engineering Specialist, you'll contribute to meaningful projects that shape the future of aerospace. This position contributes to our vision by:
Repairs, rebuilds, inspects, and tests production equipment and tooling while ensuring compliance with applicable policies and manufacturer instructions
Diagnoses equipment failures, develops solutions, and repairs or replaces equipment and components
Performs preventive maintenance and maintains historical maintenance records
Obtains quotes and orders materials and replacement parts
Recommends new products, equipment, and process improvements
Interfaces with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to support business requirements
Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to health, safety, and environmental initiatives

Candidate skills & requirements
At Safran Electrical & Power, we value service-oriented team players who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt to our dynamic, innovative environment.
Associate's Degree in a technical field preferred
3-5 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated advanced troubleshooting and equipment repair skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
Lean-Sigma Green Belt or equivalent preferred
