What we Need :-

Senior Finance Professional with deep P&L experience using Anaplan as the planning platform and Google Cloud Platform as the Driver data foundation for our Fortune 5 client.

This is a remote role that will convert to full time after 6 months.

and H1B with I140 approved status are eligible to apply.

Responsibilities:

The individual must have successfully designed and operated driver‑based P&L planning models where financial outcomes are derived from clearly defined business, operational, and financial drivers—supporting forecasting, scenario analysis, and strategic decision‑making for a large organization.

1. Finance with expertise in P&L.
2. Experience with driver based planning for a large company
3. Google Cloud Platform Skill set
4. Communicate and research Google Cloud Platform and Teams on documenting Driver data
5. Write requirements for Big Query referencing driver data
6. Anaplan driver based planning

Anaplan Expertise

The role is accountable for:

• Defining and governing driver logic within Anaplan models (e.g., workforce, revenue, expense, margin drivers)
• Ensuring drivers are consistently implemented across multiple Anaplan models (P&L, Workforce, Balance Sheet, Signify, etc.)
• Partnering with Anaplan architects and developers to ensure models are:
• Scalable
• Performant
• Aligned to enterprise driver standards
• Translating finance requirements into clear Anaplan model design patterns

Google Cloud Platform & Driver Data Enablement

A strong Google Cloud Platform skill set is required to:

• Work with curated driver datasets in Google Cloud Platform (e.g., BigQuery) that feed Anaplan
• Partner closely with data engineering teams to ensure:
• Drivers are modeled as reusable data products
• Lineage, validation, and controls are in place
• Data is fit for planning, forecasting, and downstream analytics
• Understand how cloud‑native driver data enables:
• Faster scenario modeling
• Driver validation
• Consistency across finance and analytics platforms

Communication & Documentation Leadership

This individual serves as the bridge between Finance, Anaplan, and Google Cloud Platform, with a strong emphasis on communication and documentation:

• Researching, defining, and standardizing enterprise driver definitions
• Leading cross‑functional discussions via Microsoft Teams to align Finance, IT, and Analytics stakeholders
• Producing clear documentation covering:
• Driver definitions and calculations
• Source‑to‑Anaplan data flow
• Usage guidance for planners and modelers
