Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to work with cross-functional teams in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements while supporting the successful delivery of enterprise technology solutions.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with experience working in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to understand business needs.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), User Stories, and Use Cases.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and requirement gathering sessions.
- Create process flow diagrams, workflow documentation, and gap analysis.
- Work closely with development and QA teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by creating test scenarios and validating business requirements.
- Analyze data, identify business process improvements, and recommend effective solutions.
- Maintain project documentation and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of Business Analyst experience.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering and business process analysis.
- Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, Use Cases, and Process Flows.
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Strong SQL knowledge for data validation and analysis.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working throughout the SDLC.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure DevOps or Microsoft Project.
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with Visio, Lucidchart, or similar process mapping tools.
- Experience in Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, Insurance, or Technology domains.
- CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile certification is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote Agile environment.
