Role: Safety Data Analyst in Houston, TX
Rate: $45/hr. - $55/hr. (commensurate with experience)
Contract role (12 - 18 months) with hybrid work schedule (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday in office, Wednesday and Friday work from home)

Safety Data Analyst to help transform safety data into meaningful insights that drive smarter decisions, reduce risk, and strengthen workplace safety performance. This role sits at the intersection of data, technology, and EHS, offering the opportunity to influence safety strategy through analytics, automation, and visualization.
This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role for someone who enjoys building tools, streamlining data collection, and presenting clear, actionable insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing: - Project manage Power App build requests from concept through deployment
- Develop and enhance solutions across the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate)
- Build predictive models to anticipate potential safety hazards
- Perform statistical analysis and root cause evaluations of incidents
- Query and manage databases to track key safety KPIs
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Safety Power BI dashboards
- Support monthly, internal, external, and country-wide safety reporting
- Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders, including operations, projects, STS, and senior leadership
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve safety programs, policies, and training
Additional Responsibilities: - Create and maintain Power App tools for safety data collection and analysis
- Develop and manage the Safety Performance AI build roadmap
- Manage Safety Classification and Learning Model (SCL) classifications and events
- Optimize data collection through market research and development of new tools
- Maintain and administer EHS software platforms (Enablon, EHSM)
- Govern, validate, and control safety-related data (incidents, investigations, corrective actions, exposure, etc.)
- Control and distribute safety alerts, bulletins, and safety communications
- Track and report internal and external safety performance metrics
- Provide analytical insights and recommendations to improve safety outcomes
What We're Looking For: - Strong experience with data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization
- Proficiency with SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Power Platform tools
- Experience working with EHS or safety-related data is highly preferred
- Ability to clearly communicate complex data and safety insights to diverse audiences
- A collaborative mindset and passion for using data to improve workplace safety
