Position: Oracle MySQL Database Architect – Developer/Engineering Background
Job Summary:
Seeking a hands-on Oracle MySQL Database Architect with strong DBA and software engineering experience. The ideal candidate should have progressed beyond traditional DBA responsibilities and be able to support database planning, programming, schemas, data infrastructure, and application integration.
Requirements:
- 8–12+ years of experience with MySQL/Database Engineering, including strong hands-on DBA experience.
- Expertise in MySQL architecture, SQL, schema/data modeling, performance tuning, replication, HA, backup/recovery, and security.
- Experience with database programming and application integration.
- Strong software development/engineering background; Java, .NET, or Python preferred.
- Experience planning and designing data infrastructure, database schemas, and scalable solutions.
- Ability to work closely with developers, infrastructure, and architecture teams.
- Cloud experience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
