What we are looking for
We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with a strong data background to join our team. This role will support a client’s home-grown data platform and microservices integration platform, playing a key role in building, enhancing, and integrating data-centric services across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based services supporting the client’s custom data platform
• Build and enhance microservices for data integration and distribution
• Collaborate with data architects, integration teams, and business stakeholders to ensure data consistency and quality
• Support data ingestion, validation, and processing logic within data workflows
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve data and service-level issues
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical documentation
• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java (Core Java, Java 8+)
• Solid background in data-centric applications
• Strong expertise in SQL and complex data queries
• Experience developing and integrating microservices architectures
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and service-based integrations
• Understanding of data modeling, data quality, and data governance principles

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Python (for data processing, scripting, or integration tasks)
• Exposure to integration platforms or middleware solutions
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in Java development, preferably in data-driven environments
