Job Description

Our client is seeking a senior leader to oversee workforce planning and operational logistics within a clinical services environment. This role is responsible for ensuring effective scheduling and capacity management of advanced practice clinicians, while driving efficiency, scalability, and continuous improvement across operations.


You will work closely with senior stakeholders to implement strategic initiatives, enhance operational performance, and support long-term organisational goals through data-driven decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and coordination of clinician scheduling and capacity to ensure optimal service delivery
  • Partner with senior leaders to shape and execute strategic operational initiatives
  • Analyse existing workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance
  • Design and implement tools, frameworks, and processes to enhance operational effectiveness
  • Present data-backed insights and recommendations to leadership to support key decisions
  • Oversee large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and successful delivery
  • Act as an internal advisor, collaborating across departments to solve complex operational challenges
  • Guide the development and execution of transformation initiatives, including governance and performance tracking
  • Apply structured change management approaches to support adoption of new processes and systems
  • Evaluate project outcomes and continuously refine approaches to maximise impact

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams
  • Hands-on approach with a focus on delivering measurable results

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in a relevant field such as business, operations, healthcare, engineering, or economics
  • Demonstrated experience in logistics, operations, or workforce planning
  • Previous leadership or team management experience


Preferred Background

  • Advanced degree (e.g., Master s) is an advantage
  • Familiarity with healthcare operations or clinical workforce logistics
  • Experience with enterprise systems and data tools (e.g., scheduling platforms, analytics software)
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as spreadsheets or similar technologies
