Role Overview
We are looking for a Salesforce B2B Business Architect with strong experience in Salesforce B2B Commerce to support enterprise commerce transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, technical teams, and Salesforce implementation partners to define business processes, translate requirements, and drive scalable B2B Commerce solutions.
This role requires a strong understanding of B2B eCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud / B2B Commerce, order management, customer portals, product catalog, pricing, quoting, account hierarchy, and integration workflows.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business architecture and requirements gathering for Salesforce B2B Commerce initiatives.
  • Work with business stakeholders to define current-state and future-state commerce processes.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and solution designs.
  • Partner with Salesforce architects, developers, QA teams, and product owners to ensure successful delivery.
  • Support B2B Commerce capabilities including product catalog, pricing, promotions, account-based buying, carts, checkout, order workflows, and customer self-service.
  • Drive workshops, discovery sessions, gap analysis, and solution validation with business and technical teams.
  • Align Salesforce B2B Commerce solutions with broader CRM, ERP, pricing, inventory, and fulfillment systems.
  • Support UAT planning, test scenario creation, business validation, and go-live readiness.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, process gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Act as a bridge between business teams and technical delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills
  • 10+ years of experience in business architecture, business analysis, product ownership, or Salesforce consulting.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce.
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of B2B eCommerce business processes.
  • Experience with product catalog, pricing, account hierarchy, contract pricing, quoting, carts, checkout, and order lifecycle.
  • Ability to create process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specs, and business requirement documents.
  • Experience working with Agile delivery teams using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams including business, IT, architecture, development, QA, and external partners.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in life sciences, biotech, healthcare, laboratory products, or scientific product distribution.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce B2B Commerce with ERP, OMS, PIM, DAM, CPQ, pricing engines, or inventory systems.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Revenue Cloud / CPQ is a plus.
  • Salesforce certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with global B2B commerce rollouts or enterprise digital commerce transformation programs.
