What are your contributions to the team?
Work closely with Defense Engineering functions (Performance, Systems, Avionics, Structures, Stress, Electrical, Interiors, Methods, Production, Quality, Certification) to produce thoroughly integrated solutions, aligned to customer requirements.
Participate in and lead supplier and technical reviews providing timely feedback to management and appropriate team members.
Work closely with Capture and Proposal PMO counterpart to ensure engineering deliverables are clearly outlined and support Program meetings as required.
Draft and/or Approve Statements of Work and Compliance Matrices, in line with the Customer technical requirements.
Develop and Review Bid packages for Defense customers including integrated technical solutions, estimated budget and schedule
Review Proposals for alignment to technical bids.
Able to lead weekly and monthly governance, including status of schedules and budgets.
Develop, improve and automate reporting and visibility tools.
Ensure Customer and Internal commitments are being met.
Support service requests dealing with missionized aircraft.
Develop strong partnerships with Engineering and non-Engineering groups.
Support or Lead Customer meetings.
Support development needs and resources for your department.
Establish critical skills, gap analysis and cross-training plans to optimize the team's flexibility.
Support yearly budgetary exercise and quarterly forecasts to evaluate the department's manpower.
Provide support and coaching for employee development and evaluations

How to thrive in this role?
You hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering
You have a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in aerospace and/or technical project management in the aerospace industry.
You have a strong technical knowledge of aircraft and/or aircraft systems integration.
You have experience leading tasks related to aircraft special mission modifications.
Knowledge of Flight Testing is an asset.
Experience in Proposal writing is an asset.
Experience in personnel coaching or training is an asset.
You show very strong leadership skills, judgment, flexibility and the ability to influence others.
You are results-oriented, able to meet aggressive deadlines, comfortable working under pressure and you have a sense of urgency.
You have great deal of initiative and a passion to be part of a winning team, and you have strong teamwork and people skills.
You have excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience with PLM tools such as Siemens Teamcenter is an asset.
You have superior skills in MS Office including MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
You may be required to travel and work extended hours when required.
Master's degree and/or PMI certification is an asset.
You must be eligible for ITAR clearance.
