Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) Functional Consultant to support a client’s SAP implementation project. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of order-to-cash business processes, hands-on SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) configuration experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
This role requires direct involvement in business process analysis, functional design, configuration, functional specifications, testing, and implementation support.
Key Responsibilities
Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and document order-to-cash processes.
Translate business requirements into SAP functional designs and configuration.
Configure relevant sales and distribution processes, including sales order processing, pricing, delivery, and billing, according to the assigned project scope.
Understand the end-to-end process from customer order through fulfillment, invoicing, and integration with accounts receivable and payment processing.
Identify process gaps and recommend practical SAP solutions.
Prepare functional specifications for required enhancements, interfaces, reports, forms, and workflows.
Collaborate with developers to clarify requirements and validate delivered functionality.
Work with finance, procurement, and logistics teams to address cross-functional integration requirements.
Develop and execute functional test scenarios, support integration testing and user acceptance testing, and troubleshoot process or configuration issues.
Maintain functional documentation and support data validation, cutover, go-live, and knowledge transfer as required.
Desired Qualifications
Ideally 8–10 years of relevant SAP OTC/SD functional consulting experience.
Experience supporting SAP implementation projects with direct responsibility for configuration.
Strong understanding of sales order management, pricing, delivery, billing, and finance integration.
Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements and provide SAP solutions.
Experience writing detailed functional specifications and working closely with technical teams.
Strong problem-solving, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote project environment.
