These positions should carry the strongest UI domain requirement.

Primary responsibilities: Analyze CT DOL functional changes and adjudication requirements; understand existing and changed UI business rules; develop detailed positive, negative, boundary and end-to-end test scenarios; develop and maintain test cases; identify downstream business-process impacts; support testers during execution; participate in defect triage; and validate whether observed results are consistent with expected UI functionality.

Target experience: 5–8+ years as a BA or functional analyst, with direct Unemployment Insurance benefits-system experience strongly preferred/required.

Useful UI experience would include areas such as initial claims, continued claims, monetary/nonmonetary eligibility, adjudication, determinations, payments, appeals, employer interactions, overpayments and related claimant workflows. They do not need to be experts in every domain, but adjudication experience should be particularly valuable for this engagement.
