Description

We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Architect to lead the design and development of an enterprise-wide asset management strategy for a large-scale technology organization. This individual will work closely with engineering, infrastructure, operations, and business stakeholders to evaluate current asset management practices, define future-state architecture, and drive adoption of a standardized enterprise solution.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in CMDB architecture, enterprise asset management, and cloud platforms, with the ability to bridge technical and business requirements while influencing stakeholders across multiple organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess current-state asset management processes, systems, and data across the organization.
• Partner with engineering, infrastructure, operations, security, and business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
• Architect and define a future-state enterprise asset management framework and roadmap.
• Design CMDB strategies, governance models, and data management standards to ensure asset visibility and integrity.
• Evaluate cloud-native and hybrid approaches for managing infrastructure and technology assets across on-premises and public cloud environments.
• Develop recommendations for asset lifecycle management, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, utilization tracking, and decommissioning.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment and executive-level decision making on solution direction and adoption.
• Create architecture documentation, process flows, implementation plans, and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support execution and long-term operationalization of the selected solution.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, IT asset management, infrastructure architecture, or related disciplines.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing CMDB solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management methodologies and best practices.
• Experience working with public cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across multiple organizations.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Asset Management, or ITSM solutions.
• Experience evaluating or implementing alternative asset management platforms.
• Background in enterprise infrastructure, data center operations, or cloud transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with governance, compliance, and operational process frameworks.
