ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Research Associate III - Investigation / Sustainability (On-Market Support) with a Biotechnology company. This is a 24+ month contract opportunity with our client located in Tucson, AZ. This is an onsite position. Summary: This is an individual contributor role responsible for providing project support for a wide variety of Product Care and Quality Team (PCQT) projects. The position involves performing reagent-based or assay-based investigations to address reagent quality, performance, or compliance issues for on-market products. The scope of work includes primary stains, advanced staining reagents, special stains, and bulk reagents used for automated applications.
Responsibilities: - Designs a wide range of experimental protocols
- Executes bench experiments; makes detailed and general observations and analyzes data
- Prepares technical reports, summaries and quantitative analyses
- Maintains complete and accurate records
- Identifies and implements improvements to work processes and laboratory environment
- Works on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors
- Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
- Participates in cross functional technical teams such as a failure investigation or core team
- Works well in a team environment by being a productive project team member, suggesting creative solutions to problems and providing input to project planning
- Establishes interfaces across other organizational groups
- Troubleshoots problems and institutes corrective action
- Prepares and presents experimental procedures and results in group and project teams
- Monitors work to ensure quality, and continuously promote Quality First Time
Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Science (MCB, Biology, Chemistry, Physiology, etc.)
- 4 years relevant job experience
Desired skills: - Direct wet lab experience, preferably with IHC, histology, or tissue diagnostics
- Experience in root-cause analysis, investigation, and issue resolution for products and processes in a research and development setting
- Familiarity and experience working within regulated quality systems, including processes for Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA) and Non-Conformance Reports
- Previous manufacturing or product development experience
- Experience with ADO (Azure DevOps) or Agile methodologies
Pay range: Up to $35.55 per Hour
