Job Description:
Senior Test Engineer

Location: Remote U.S.

Role Overview

This role involves performing and leading test teams in the documentation and execution of integration, regression, and functional testing for complex systems. The objective is to ensure compliance with system requirements and use cases by following established test practices and utilizing approved testing tools. The position requires writing technically complex test plans, analyzing requirements, and creating test cases for new or modified systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create complex Test Plan documents.
  • Perform complex analysis, interpret results, and present recommendations.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication regarding testing activities, including progress reports and defect reporting.
  • Coordinate and perform testing of complex systems during the System Integration Testing phase.
  • Participate in System Development Life Cycle activities using SAFe Agile methodologies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to peers.
  • Create, update, and execute complex manual and automated test cases.
  • Troubleshoot automation scripts and update automation parameterization files.
  • Document defects and perform advanced root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with developers, business partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Analyze changes in policies, procedures, and products to determine impacts on testing.
Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.

Experience: 10+ years of experience in technology testing. Significant experience working in cross-functional teams and following Systems Development Life Cycles. Experience working in an IT environment.

Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of testing tools, various database types, and testing processes. Proficiency with Word.

Preferred Qualifications
  • ISTQB Foundation level certification (CTFL).
  • DevOps Institute DevOps Foundation (DOFD).
