Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Developer (IRM/GRC)

Location: Remote (Eastern Time Zone)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer with deep expertise in the Integrated Risk Management (IRM/GRC) module to support a large-scale retail environment. This role requires a strong technical background in ServiceNow platform development, API architecture, and enterprise integrations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and managing APIs, integrating internal and external systems, and supporting governance, risk, and compliance workflows. Experience with event-driven architectures and identity integrations is highly desirable.

Candidates located within the six-state footprint (MI, WI, IL, IN, OH, KY) are preferred; however, exceptional remote candidates in the Eastern Time Zone will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain solutions within the ServiceNow IRM/GRC module
Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, business rules, UI policies, and integrations
Develop and manage REST/SOAP APIs, including internal API development and external system integrations
Support API lifecycle management, documentation, and contract governance
Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems and enterprise platforms
Implement and support risk management, policy management, audit, and compliance workflows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Risk, Compliance, Security, and IT
Participate in architectural design discussions and recommend scalable solutions
Ensure adherence to platform best practices, security standards, and performance optimization

Required Qualifications

7+ years of ServiceNow development experience
Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow IRM/GRC module
Extensive experience with API development and integration (REST/SOAP)
Experience building and consuming enterprise APIs
Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide API)
Experience with system integrations and data transformation
Retail industry experience (Required)
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Must work Eastern Time Zone hours

Highly Preferred Qualifications

Experience integrating with One Identity APIs
Hands-on experience with Kafka event streaming (consuming and/or implementing event-driven architecture)
Experience designing new event streaming frameworks
ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS-IRM, or equivalent)
