Role Overview
This role focuses on building and maintaining automated, continuous testing frameworks across endpoint platforms to proactively detect issues. The objective is to simulate real user behavior and ensure core functionality remains intact across releases and changes. The ideal candidate will build and mature centralized testing capabilities across the endpoint and collaboration ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated testing frameworks for Windows endpoints, macOS endpoints, VDI environments, and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Implement continuous testing workflows and configure automated test execution on a 24/7 basis.
- Build automated tests to validate system functionality, including user login, application performance (Microsoft Teams, Outlook), and browser access.
- Develop and maintain test scripts and workflows using tools such as UiPath and light scripting.
- Partner with endpoint engineering, DevOps, and automation teams to embed automated testing into release and change processes.
- Continuously expand test coverage, starting with core functionality and evolving to advanced scenarios.
- Define test strategies, quality gates, and reporting standards to improve release consistency.
- Document test frameworks, validation standards, and runbooks.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3-5+ years of relevant experience in test automation, quality engineering, or a related automation-focused role. Experience with continuous testing and automation frameworks is required.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as UiPath (preferred) and scripting languages like PowerShell. Ability to design structured test workflows and build repeatable validation scenarios. Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to investigate failures and identify root cause patterns.
Education: Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Light scripting experience and familiarity with CI/CD concepts and Git-based workflows.
- Experience with endpoint environments (Windows/Mac/VDI) and management technologies such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Jamf, or VMware Horizon.
- Exposure to monitoring/alerting systems, QA automation, or regression testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of identity, access, and compliance validation patterns, including Microsoft Entra ID.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated conversion salary for this position is between $100,000 and $180,000 annually. The compensation package may also include a yearly performance bonus, a partner bonus, and a 401(k) plan with a company contribution.
